Step 3 – DARG Survey
The Disaster Assessment and Recovery Group (DARG) survey validates resiliency expectations for new or updated systems. Completing the questionnaire and aligning with Publix technology leadership ensures the right recovery tier before deeper platform onboarding begins.
Preparing for the Survey
Before you submit the form:
- Meet with your delivery leadership to confirm the business criticality of the application.
- Document the impact if the system is unavailable (customer experience, financial loss, regulatory risk, etc.).
- Gather contact details for the product owner and technical lead who can speak to outage tolerances.
Complete the DARG Survey
- Open the PowerApp: DARG Survey Submission.
- Provide the requested system overview, dependencies, recovery expectations, and contact information.
- Double-check any Recovery Time Objective (RTO) or Recovery Point Objective (RPO) values with leadership before submission.
Note: The form is short, but accuracy matters. Align internally on outage impact before hitting submit.
After Submission
- The DARG team will review your responses and reach out with clarifying questions if needed.
- Expect a working session with Publix tech leadership to validate the stated impact and recovery posture.
- Once resolved, DARG assigns the application to a recovery group and confirms the designation via email.
